Seller specific questions
How long will it take to sell through Rehome?
This is a common question and one that's difficult to answer. Put simply, the home improvement market is seasonal and is also dependant on how many other similar items are available, and how popular the style is. Ideally, 6-8 weeks before your removal date is an optimal amount of time for us to guide you through our approval process and actively market your product to find a buyer. However, if you have a shorter or longer timeframe, we can still help.
How do you arrive at a guide and listing price?
With many years of experience, we are able to give you an estimated guide price, based on your photographs, previous sales and information you have given to us regarding age and condition. Once accepted by Rehome, we may conducted a marketing survey or further research. Once completed, we will then discuss the initial listing price with you, but please note, it is impossible to give a guaranteed sales price as this is dependant on many factors. In most cases it will be necessary to consider sensible offers*, especially as your dismantle/removal date moves closer. We will never insist that you refuse a lower offer*, if you would prefer the comfort of a quick sale.

Will you help me arrange the dismantle of my kitchen, bathroom or bedroom?
Making the right decisions with regards to the dismantle of your kitchen, bedroom or bathroom is important for both you and your buyer. Having just purchased from you , your buyer will need reassurance that the job will be professionally done, minimising the risk of damage, and you won't want to deal with the hassle if things don't go according to plan. You may even worry about the safety of your home. In booking Rehome to dismantle for you, you will only have to arrange the disconnection of your utilities and we will do the rest. The dismantle of pre-installed items is a specialist skill and this is why it is an integral part of Rehome's process. Our experience shows us that; your buyer will be happier knowing that the cost of removal is already covered and will be professionally undertaken, and you will have comfort knowing that only qualified, fully verified and insured tradesmen are being given access to your home

Can I sell through Rehome, even if my item is damaged or older?
There is always the chance that any product submitted to us could be rejected for sale through Rehome. However, quality and condition of a pre-owned product, expecially if it is in your own home, is subjective. What one person finds acceptable, another may not. Very often it may not be as catastrophic as you think. Our Something To Sell process allows you to submit photographs and basic information for a free, objective and non committal view of the potential guide value and/or viability to sell through Rehome. If you are considering replacing a quality item from your home, we urge you to give this a go. You may be suprised.
How much can you sell a used kitchen for?
The value of a pre-loved kitchen will depend on many factors. As a rule of thumb the original purchase price, age and amount of use are the first three considerations. However, sometimes a great quality kitchen with minimum use over a number of years can still gain a great sales price. Rehome sell used kitchens with guide values between £2,500 and £40,000, following our quality assurance and condition checks.
