This is a Johnny Grey Kitchen – a multi award winning designer and author who has influenced the kitchen design industry for over 5 decades. Branded as 'the World's most intelligent kitchen' by Newcastle Helix, this fully working protoype of the 4 Generation kitchen has been installed at the UK National Innovation Centre for Ageing, and was created by Johnny Grey and Professor Peter Gore as a kitchen that flexes and adapts to meet the different needs of different ages.
This kitchen has some truly features: The height of key areas and appliances can be adjusted to suit different users' needs, with rise and fall countertops and wall cabinetry. The heat-proof island surface has embedded induction electricity, so induction hobs can be used without the need for cables. Island features easy access foldable stools that can be pulled out from under the surface. Some elements are custom made, and appliance garage is by Symphony kitchenns.
