Poggenpohl Kitchens

Founded by Freidemir Poggenpohl in 1892, German kitchen giants Poggenpohl are believed to be the oldest kitchen design brand in the world. They have single-handedly pioneered the kitchen industry and their innovative designs have shaped the kitchens we know today! The 1950’s saw the company present the first unit kitchen and before long the design had spread across borders. In 1968 the first solid wood kitchen was unveiled and became highly coveted throughout the 70’s. Later in the decade, Poggenpohl kitchens took a step into the future with the theoretical ‘bubble’ kitchen, offering us a glimpse into the year 2000.
