Eggersmann' s flagship range of kitchens uses a combination of natural stone and exotic timber veneer along with a host of bespoke details and luxurious appliances. The island is crafted in Taj Mahal Quartzite, a solid natural stone that is not to be confused with ‘quartz’ a common industry name for man-made or engineered stone products using a mixture of ground down quartz minerals, other pigments and resin. The natural quartzite is quarried in Brazil and is one of the hardest natural stones available and is characteristic of the beauty of marble yet more durable that granite, making it unrivalled in its beauty and suitability for a kitchen worktop. The smoked eucalyptus veneer leaves were handpicked and stitched for the use in this kitchen, and expertly craft details such as the oven framing detail, which create not only a focal point for the ovens, but a practical recessed handle grip for the appliances and doors around the oven. The island also features hand made solid smoked oak drawer boxes with a substantial array of luxurious and functional accessories, such as internal lighting, magnetic knife holders, an entire spice drawer, integrated weighing scale, foil/film dispensers, a gold plated super lux drawer as well as bottle, cutlery, utensil and crockery storage accessories. Matching stone was used for the dishwasher door (again solid stone!) mitred worktop detail and matching bespoke sink.
