Access issues: Removal/collection of this kitchen will involve navigating steps. If self collecting please seek advice from UKE. During his visit, our photographer Lavern noted that he believes this to be a very nice kitchen that has been well cared for. He noted some marking on the island which a buyer may wish to paint over. See images. There is some minor wear and tear to the paintwork on the dishwasher door. This could be easily touched up. See image.Removal Notes https://trustedtraders.which.co.uk/businesses/used-kitchen-exchange-limited/" target="_blank" rel="follow no noopener noreferrer <img class="alignnone wp-image-89535" src="https://www.usedkitchenexchange.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/TT_icon-1.jpg" Trusted Trader Removal- Used Kitchen Exchange offer a Which? Trusted Trader service for Kitchen Dismantle as part of their standard sellers package, however, a seller might opt to arrange the dismantle themselves. Our listing will let you know who will be dismantling the kitchen you have purchased. Our buyers do NOT pay for the dismantle of the kitchen they have purchased - this is included in the sales price paid.Granite/Quartz/Marble - Whilst every attempt will be made to successfully remove stone worktops without damage, this is not always possible. Therefore, pieces of granite with ‘cut outs’ eg sinks, hobs, etc. cannot be guaranteed. Likewise stone back splashes, upstands and window sills are also not guaranteed. These pieces will be given to the buyer free of charge if successfully removed and are therefore not included in the overall sales price. Breakages are rare, but sometimes unavoidable, but most cases the worktop can be fixed with an epoxy adhesive by yourself or through a local granite Supplier.Occasionally a kitchen may have a chimney breast and mantle. In most cases this is 'faux' and the mantle will sit on top of a solid piece of work-surface. However, sometimes the work-surface may be cut around the chimney breast, leaving a cut out on removal. It is normally possible for us to identify if this will be the case, however not in every case. Buyers must be aware of this and plan for this to avoid disappointment.Corian - Corian is a specialist worktop. The beauty of Corian is all joins are invisible. When Corian is installed it comes into the property in pieces and the joins are 'blended' to become invisible. Once joined, it becomes 1 large piece. In order to remove and transport a Corian worktop it is normal to expect this to be cut - this is often necessary due to the sizes/shapes/weight of the pieces. During removal, the joiner will assess the best place to cut - to reinstall, a Corian expert will be required. It is worth noting that it is normally possible to 'add' to a Corian worktop if required.Laminate worktops - Removal of a Laminate worktop will nearly always result in unrepairable damage to the laminate's surface. Therefore, laminate worktops are always excluded from any sale.Kitchen reconfiguration - Please consider that if the configuration of the kitchen is to be changed, end panels, kick boards/plinths, decorative trims etc may not re reusable because of their size, cut outs, fading, screw holes etc.Painted Kitchens - Often painted kitchens are painted once installed, this means that during removal painted finishes may be chipped. It is reasonable to expect some touch up painting once your kitchen is re-installed.Appliances - Whilst the listing above includes description of the appliances ,we strongly recommend that all appliances have an electrical and/or gas safety check, by a qualified electrical and/ or Gas Safe registered engineer as appropriate. Electrical goods need to be checked to confirm that the plug, socket or adapter supplied complies with the appropriate current regulations.Cleaning - Please be aware that this kitchen is advertised as ‘Used’ - it is therefore reasonable to expect some additional cleaning and possibly some minor repairs when refitting.Plastic Cabinet Legs - These are the unseen adjustable supports for cabinets, normally hidden by the kick-boards. Unfortunately, these can be broken during the removal process. These are easy and very inexpensive to replace. Readily available at B&Q or Screwfix.

FAQ's

Not quite sure about how we work. Explore our popular FAQ’s below.

FAQ's
How do I know who the seller of an item is?
Each Rehome listing will let you know if you are buying from a Private Seller or a Business. When your offer to purchase has been accepted, we will provide you with the Sellers name and contact details.
How do I pay for my item?
Payment style will vary depending on the seller type and sales method. If an item is being sold through the Rehome website as 'buy it now',  you will be able to buy this online and check out. If your item is pre-owned or ex display, we will manage payment on your behalf. Payment methods also vary, please make an enquiry if the listing is unclear.  Purchase via Rehome supported services Payment is requested by BACS or finance. Most sales can be secured with a 10% deposit, full payment is due 14 days prior to the delivery/collection date. Rehome Ecomm purchases (with checkout) Various payment options will be made available to you. Please see the listing for details.
Are appliances electrically tested eg PAT or FAT tested?
For ex-display appliances we request the Trade Seller confirms if the appliance has been PAT (Portable Appliances Tested) of FAT (Fixed Appliance Tested) , as applicable. This will be confirmed in the `Important Information` section in the sales listing`. For pre-owned appliances we request that the Seller confirms that the appliances being sold are in good working order and any defects are noted, see `Condition` section in sales listing. We assume that appliances have not been PAT/ FAT tested, see 'Important Information' in the Sales Listing. We confirm that Rehome does not test any appliances. For all appliances it is a Purchaser obligation that all appliances purchased are installed and tested by a qualified electrician prior to being switched on.
Can I collect something I have purchased myself?
Products are either Rehome delivery, self collection or Trade Seller's own delivery. This will be made clear in the listing. Kitchen/Bathroom/Bedroom Self Collection All buyers who are self collecting can request the weight and dimensions which we are happy to share. If you choose self-collection, or employing your own courier, we strongly advise that you fully inspect for completeness and condition against the sales listing prior to loading for your onward journey as it is very difficult to rectify any problems once collected. If you choose our in-house collection and delivery service,  this will automatically be done for you. Receiving a quote is easy, just quote your post code through the product enquiry button and we will send this to you.
What can I sell through Rehome?
We specialise in marketing, selling and dismantling of quality fitted home furniture including, but not limited to: complete kitchens, wardrobes, media walls, bathroom sanitary wear etc. As well as conservatories, appliances, fireplaces, garden rooms and single items of quality furniture. We are experts in high end property clearance projects and working with Trade sellers from the interiors market, selling end of line, slow moving and cancelled orders.
Can I view before I buy?
In most cases for pre-owned or ex display items, we can arrange a viewing for you. With an approved used product, this will be at the home of the seller. Likewise, for an ex display item it may be in a showroom or similar. If an item has already been removed and is in storage, viewings are harder to arrange. New (other) products are normally packed and unavailable for viewing.
When buying a kitchen or bathroom through Rehome is dismantle included?
Our buyers do not pay for the professional dismantle cost, as this is included in the listing price if applicable. All sellers are offered our dismantle service and if they have chosen this it will appear in the listing. Please contact us for further information if needed.
Do you offer a collection and delivery service?
Yes, delivery options are available for all products (unless stated otherwise). For specialist delivery (kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms) we have an in-house,  professional delivery team with the appropriate lifting equipment and specialist vans with the correct height, weight tolerance and racking to transport your purchase safely. The average kitchen can weigh more than 1 tonne, therefore self-collection is not advised. For products that don't require specialist delivery, options will be viewable through the listing.
Do you offer finance?
We offer finance options on selected trade products. This is at the discretion of the seller. If finance is available, this information will appear in the listing.
Do you offer installation?
Rehome do not offer an installation service.  However, The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) work with professional installers, retailers, and manufacturers, providing consumers access to free practical advice and an informed choice. https://bikbbi.org.uk/
How do I know a product will be in good condition?
Each used or ex display kitchen, bathroom, bedroom item submitted for sale through Rehome is inspected, in person where possible, by a member of our marketing team. We do not accept an item if it doesn’t meet our stringent quality criteria. Our sellers, both domestic and trade, all consult with a Rehome team member and agree to sell through us adhering to our expectations for quality, cleanliness and accuracy of their listing. All products are listed for sale through Rehome with an honest reflection of condition. Listings will also include age (where known), level of use and any damage, including photographs, so you are able to make an informed choice. In a lot of instances, viewings can be arranged if desired.
